What I Do

As a professional dog trainer, my goal is to teach owners how to effectively communicate with their dog(s) using positive training methods.  I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.

I have many years of experience working with several different breeds of dogs and their owners.  In addition to that, I  also have a diverse "pack" of my own.  I have two Husky/Shepherds, Riley and Amber.  Both have their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) award from the American Kennel Club (AKC).  I have an American Pit Bull Terrier, Joy, that I show in ADBA Sanctioned Dog Shows and AADR Dog Shows.  She has won many awards and trophies.  I also have a Chihuahua, Mickey, who loves showing off his tricks.  You can see the excitment in his eyes when he knows he's the center of attention!
The newest addition is Tempe.  She is a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog.  She is currently in obedience training and is learning so much each day.
I feel I have been successful when owners enjoy the company of their dog as much as I enjoy mine.
